Are you tired of your old decrepit coolant tank on your MR2 Spyder? These are the answer for you! Hand crafted from 1/8" thick aluminum, professionally TIG welded, pressure tested, and fit checked in our personal mock up car!
The inlet and outlet fittings have been converted over to AN style hose ends, push lock hose ends are supplied with the kit to fit your OEM hoses that have to be slightly trimmed in order to fit, as well as hose clamps as an extra reassurance the hoses will never leak.
The radiator cap has been replaced by a common "mini cap" that's easily found at any auto parts store, or if you seek a higher pressure cap for your race car, its easily found as well!
Included with each tank is new hardware, as well as insulating washers to protect your coolant system from electrolysis, this a very often overlooked portion when designing products!
Internally baffled to slow down the coolant and allow all of the air to be removed from the coolant that returns back to the motor
The overall capacity is increased by double, but you only need to keep enough coolant in the tank to be above the installed sight glass.
There is an included mounting tab for the brake light wiring that normally attaches to the original tank, we have included a spot for this as well as a new clip so you can ensure the wires are properly secured.
Every tank is pressure tested to 25PSI to ensure the included cap opens at the correct internal pressure, as well as to check for any leaks!
